FIELD TRIPS
We offer fun and educational field trips to our farm during the weekdays in October. Field trips may be reserved Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Once the students arrive, they will rotate through four stations, which include the following:
- An educational presentation on the life cycle of corn and pumpkins
- A hayride
- The “School” corn maze ( a smaller maze just for students, in which they will participate in the Farm Tracks game)
- The Courtyard Activities (includes hay pyramid, a huge corn seed pit, petting zoo, huge pipe slides, educational farming displays, the huge jumping pillow, obstacle courses, and a pig race)
We have a large covered picnic area for those who wish to bring a lunch. Free water is available. The cost is $10 per student. Teachers and chaperones are free. Each student will receive one pumpkin to take home.
